Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Administrative Manager located in the Washington, D.C. area.

What you'll do:

The Senior Administrative Manager will provide administrative and executive support to DPAE Maritime/SEA 21, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support services which allow organizations to operate efficiently, such as payroll, information and data processing, telecommunications management, and security, among other things.
  • Implementing procedures to improve productivity and customer service.
  • Coordinating the work, meetings, and people within the physical workplace.
  • Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
  • Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
  • Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience providing administrative management support to U.S. Navy program offices
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
