Job Summary

The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program Manager will serve as a strategic and operational leader for UETN's role in Utah's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). RHTP is a five-year federal program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), administered in Utah by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). UETN leads two RHTP initiatives:

• LIFT (Leveraging Innovation for Facilitated Telehealth): expands telehealth access across rural Utah through funded telehealth projects and a statewide Telehealth Alliance.
• SPRINT Consortium (technology branch): strengthens rural health care technology through funding for electronic health record (EHR) upgrades, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, and interoperability.

The RHT Program Manager will manage federal funds allocated to UETN for both initiatives, including subawards to rural providers. The position ensures compliance with DHHS and CMS requirements, oversees reporting and subrecipient monitoring, and coordinates with partners statewide to advance rural health innovation.

This position is grant funded. Continuation beyond the grant period depends on future funding. In-state travel is required for site visits.
