Overview
Schedule: This is a hyrbid role. After onboarding and training is complete - it is expected to be onsite at least 4 days per week.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations in the Department of Surgery. Will lead the creation training and performance management of reliable financial systems that support strong financial stewardship and strategic decision-making regarding investments in clinical growth, academics, and research. Responsibilities include but are not limited to division and department business operations, annual budget coordination, faculty compensation, professional service agreements, financial management, position control, materials management and procurement. Works in collaboration with Enterprise partners at CHLA CHLAMG and USC.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required:
5 years of progressive management and supervisory experience with 3 years in the healthcare industry.
Preferred:
Experience in Academic Medical Center
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Required:
Master's degree in business or healthcare administration with a finance/accounting background or equivalent relevant experience.
Pay Scale Information
USD $111,862.40 - USD $152,118.72
