Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Reports to: Controller

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all partner invoices, and maintaining financial integrity. This role involves managing the accounts payable team, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and development.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices for 25+ entities, expense reports, and payments to vendors and employees. AP volume averages 200 - 300 per week.
  • Manage monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on accounts payable metrics, cash flow forecasting, and vendor performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolving any payment issues and ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with other departments, including procurement and finance, to ensure alignment and streamline processes.
  • Communication clearly and frequently with partners during implementation phases to ensure a smooth transition of accounts, processes and relationships.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bill.com, Sage, and Chase experience a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues with minimum supervision

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable or finance, with at least 2 years in a manager role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

LOCATION:
  • Hybrid working model, expect 1-2 days per week in the office
  • Travel willingness


COMPENSATION:

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and will include an attractive base salary, annual bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

For candidates whose primary place of work will be in Massachusetts, the expected base salary range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 annually.

This range represents the base salary H2O Care Partners expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant experience, education and specific work location.
