Full Job Description
We are looking for a finance professional who's not only adept with digits but also eager to be part of a dynamic, collaborative team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape and contributing directly to our success story!

Are you passionate about accounting, known for your rigor, leadership, and ability to optimize processes? As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in managing and supervising our accounting operations while working with a dedicated and dynamic team.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Prepare UAP Inc.'s consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis and perform accounting analyses;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between GPC and the UAP accounting team;
  • Organize, supervise, and train head office accountants and treasury clerks.
  • Act as an advisor to departments to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance with corporate policies;
  • Supervise and participate in the preparation of head office budgets and consolidated budget reports;
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Assistant Controller on external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with key controls for the cash cycle;
  • Ensure that accounting policies and standards are understood and applied by all accounting staff.


Qualifications

To join our team, you need, among other things:
  • A bachelor's degree and/or a recognized accounting designation with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of accounting theory, consolidation, and internal controls (asset);
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada.
