Position Summary: The Accounting Manager oversees the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Special Billings, and Compliance functions, leading a team of 10+ direct reports. This role is a key part of the finance team and reports directly to the Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Special Billings functions
- Hire, train, and develop accounting staff; conduct performance reviews for direct reports
- Monitor and manage AR and AP KPIs
- Lead initiatives to improve AP/AR workflows and internal controls
- Prepare work papers for the year-end audit
- Manage local compliance requirements
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in Business with equivalent accounting experience
- 7+ years of experience; public accounting experience and CPA license preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, with a preference for leasing/rental accounting experience
- Proven experience improving and evolving back-office processes and procedures
- Strong data analysis skills; comfortable working with large datasets
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Construction industry experience a plus

Physical/Mental Demands: Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. This position is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and scanners.
