Key Responsibilities: - Own and execute the monthly close (journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis) for multiple companies
- Prepare accurate, timely GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules
- Maintain balance sheet integrity with clear roll forwards and supporting schedules
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors and support audit readiness
- Oversee AP and AR to ensure accurate cut-off, coding, and cash application
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and control
- Investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and drive root-cause fixes
- Support banking, covenant reporting, and ad hoc initiatives
- Review bank reconciliations prepared by staff
- Help build and mentor a small team, including offshore resources
- Monitor and evaluate staff job performance meets efficiency and accuracy standards
What We're Looking For:- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry a plus)
- Strong financial statement preparation and close management experience
- Experience working with or leading external audits
- Track record of improving accounting processes and controls
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude

Pay: 140,000 - $160,000 per year
