A well-established organization is seeking an Investment Accountant to support accounting, reporting, and operational activities across a diversified investment portfolio. This position will work closely with finance colleagues, investment professionals, and external service providers.
Responsibilities
Record and reconcile investment transactions, cash balances, holdings, and related activity.
Coordinate funding requests, distributions, investment expenses, and other portfolio transactions.
Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for periodic financial reporting.
Monitor cash requirements and assist with liquidity forecasts.
Resolve discrepancies with custodians, administrators, and other external partners.
Support year-end audits by preparing documentation and responding to investment-related inquiries.
Assist with investment tax reporting, including K-1 reviews and supporting workpapers.
