  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with accounting managers and internal stakeholders to address financial inquiries and support business needs.

Accountant - Payroll

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately recording payroll transactions in the general ledger, analyzing payroll-related costs, and supporting financial reporting and audits. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Accurately record payroll entries in the general ledger in a timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll accrual calendars and ensure proper mapping of payroll codes within the payroll system.

Where You'll Work:

This is a hybrid-based role that will report out of our corporate headquarters in Downers Grove, IL.

Pay & Benefits:
  • The salary range is $80,000 - $95,000. This role is also eligible for incentive pay.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be motivated by a variety of factors including the candidate's meaningful experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
  • Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and flexible time off.
