Ruder Finn is seeking a strong internal communications professional to join rf.engage as Account Supervisor. rf.engage is our growing global center of excellence for internal communications, employee engagement and change.
This is an opportunity for a strong internal communications practitioner to help organizations navigate transformation, strengthen the employee experience and turn complex business priorities into communications employees can understand, connect with and act on.
You'll help manage day-to-day client relationships, lead projects and workstreams, contribute strategic and creative thinking, and develop work spanning employee listening, change communications, executive and manager communications, engagement campaigns, channel strategy and impact measurement.
The right candidate combines strong judgment, exceptional writing, strong client-service instincts and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while guiding junior team members. You will also help us advance new approaches to internal communications, including audience personalization, AI-enabled research and insights, and content designed to reach employees across roles, regions and working environments.

Key Responsibilities
You manage accounts, projects and teams
Help build trusted client relationships across multiple accounts with responsiveness, proactivity and consistent follow-through
Own day-to-day projects and workstreams, establishing timelines and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within scope
Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business objectives, strategic priorities, culture and industry landscape, and use that knowledge to inform the teams’ recommendations
Proactively identify ideas and recommendations that address client needs
Mentor and support junior team members by providing guidance, constructive feedback, quality control and opportunities for development
Assist with account financial management including budget tracking, forecasting, scopes of work and resource planning
Support new business opportunities through research, proposal development and pitch preparation
You develop internal communications and employee engagement programs
Help translate clients’ business challenges and employee needs into clear internal communications and employee engagement strategies
Build actionable program plans that define objectives, audiences, messages, channels, deliverables, timelines and measures of success.
Conduct and analyze direct employee research, stakeholder feedback, surveys, channel analytics and communications performance to help inform recommendations and optimize programs
Incorporate AI and emerging technologies thoughtfully to strengthen research, audience understanding, personalization, content development and workflow efficiency
Develop high-quality communications campaigns, engagement campaigns, executive and manager communications, and support creation of plans, messaging frameworks and channel strategies
Shape communications and approaches for diverse employee audiences including frontline and non-wired employees, field teams and global colleagues
Create high-quality materials and guide junior team members in the development of items including executive presentations, speeches and talking points, FAQs, manager toolkits, intranet content, emails, and other employee-facing communications
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in internal communications, employee engagement, change communications, corporate communications or a related field
Bachelor's degree in related field required
Communications agency experience is strongly preferred. Candidates from in-house internal communications and employee engagement roles will also be considered if they demonstrate client-service instincts, stakeholder management and working across multiple fast-moving priorities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
Experience developing strategic communications materials for a variety of audiences and channels
Ability to analyze research, employee feedback, and communications metrics to support recommendations
Curiosity and comfort with integrating AI and emerging technologies into communications and workflows
Strong collaboration, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture

The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $83,000 - $95,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications. In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available by the company.
