Account Manager- New Nuclear


As the Account Manager - New Nuclear, you are responsible for achieving bookings targets by establishing strong relationships with customers and helping them successfully design and launch New Nuclear (NN) projects.  Accounts include designers of large light water reactors, Small Modular Reactors, Advanced Reactors, and Micro Reactors. The role involves managing the full sales cycle from opportunity development through order closure, working closely with strategic customers and internal business unit teams to deliver complex, multi-year contracts.


Location: Remote


Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, plus bonus

Your Challenge:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and negotiate complex, multi-year contracts 
  • Work directly with customers to identify needs and bring together Curtiss-Wright resources as needed to create customized solutions.
  • Drive and implement sales strategies for assigned markets/customers, aiming to increase order volume, scope, and profitability.
  • Contribute to marketing and commercial strategies to expand market presence.
  • Maintain regular communication with Curtiss-Wright executive leadership on account progress and market intelligence.
  • Develop winning bid strategies and lead negotiations for opportunities.
  • Support proposal development and obtain necessary management approvals.
  • Update and maintain CRM tools (i.e., Microsoft Dynamics) and represent opportunities in meetings to support sales forecasts.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, Engineering Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, procurement, applications engineering, design/manufacturing engineering in the nuclear industry.
  • Ability and willingness to travel two weeks per month to customer sites.
  • U.S. export-controlled information access eligibility.
  • Advanced understanding of the New Nuclear market to include development and construction of AP 1000, APR 1400/1000, small modular reactors, advanced reactors and micro reactors.
  • Established relationships with decision makers within New Nuclear developers and EPC firms.
  • Five years of experience selling engineered products to New Nuclear developers.
