Landscape Maintenance Account Manager
Santa Clara, CA | $95,000• $105,000 + Annual Bonus Potential

As a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, leading field operations, developing your team, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping drive the overall success of the branch.

This position is located in Santa Clara, CA.
What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you will:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial landscape clients through consistent communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
  • Ensure customers receive high-quality, timely service and that client expectations are consistently met.
  • Lead and support landscape maintenance crews, including morning dispatch, workload planning, performance management, coaching, and addressing employee or customer concerns.
  • Conduct proactive property and site-quality inspections and communicate findings and action plans to both clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and develop proposals and bids that create value for our customers.
  • Network within the market and generate referrals and new business opportunities.
  • Help grow the branch's contract base within targeted market segments and geographic areas.
  • Partner with branch leadership to achieve goals related to customer retention, quality, growth, employee development, and profitability
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and proactively recommending solutions.
  • What We're Looking For

    The ideal candidate is a confident leader who combines commercial landscape knowledge, operational leadership, customer service, and sales ability.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of commercial landscape experience, with client and crew management experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing a large portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts.
  • 2- or 4-year college degree in horticulture, landscape management, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • 2• 3+ years of experience training and managing multiple landscape crews, gardeners, or field employees.
  • 3+ years of customer service, sales, account management, or comparable experience.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify opportunities and sell additional landscape services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present proposals and bids.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with branch leadership and field teams.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with clients, employees, and coworkers.
