Full Job Description
We are seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, supporting revenue growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned market or territory. This role serves as a key commercial contact for customers and is accountable for understanding customer needs, coordinating internal support, and helping deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Closely working with internal cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to align commercial, technical, and operational needs. This role supports account planning, opportunity development, customer communication, and issue resolution while ensuring commitments are clearly communicated and followed through. Success in this role requires strong account management skills, semiconductor or advanced manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively across internal departments.

Location
  • Photronics office location, Allen Texas or Brookfield CT onsite.

Travel
  • Ability to travel minimum 50% and up to 75% to support customer meetings, business reviews, and account activities.

ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Customer Support
  • Manage assigned customer accounts, supporting account plans, customer communication, and ongoing commercial activities.
  • Support the commercial relationship with accountability for customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer's business needs, product requirements, supply chain model, and decision-making structure.

Customer Engagement
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customer contacts across purchasing, technical, operations, and business teams.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear internal actions and help coordinate timely responses to customer needs.
  • Support commercial discussions, pricing activities, contract administration, and customer business reviews as assigned.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and leadership to support assigned customer accounts.
  • Drive internal follow-up on customer commitments and help ensure timely execution of account-related actions.
  • Manage complex internal dependencies while maintaining clear ownership and accountability.

Technical & Commercial Leadership
  • Leverage technical expertise to engage credibly with customer engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to align solutions with customer technology requirements and future roadmaps.
  • Balance technical feasibility, operational execution, and commercial outcomes.

Pipeline Management & Strategic Growth
  • Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and pipeline visibility for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and support account growth opportunities across assigned products, technologies, and customer needs.
  • Support demand forecasting, customer planning, and internal communication related to account growth.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including customer needs, supply chains, and commercial account management practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex, high-touch customer engagements and strategic account relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customer decision-makers and business leaders.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Ability to engage credibly at a technical level with customer engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Strong relationship management, problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-up skills in a customer-facing environment.
  • Executive presence with sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company at the highest levels.

Requirement
  • 3+ years of sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing commercial experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven success managing customer relationships, supporting revenue growth, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
  • Experience supporting sales engagements that require sustained customer communication and internal coordination.
  • Experience developing account opportunities, supporting customer onboarding, or expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Experience coordinating with internal cross-functional teams to resolve customer needs and support account objectives.
  • Experience with long-term supply agreements, co-development models, or strategic partnership structures is preferred.
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, photomasks, semiconductors, or adjacent high-technology industries is preferred.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Advanced degree in a technical or business-related field is a plus.
