Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Senior Sales Manager or VP Cement Sales, the Cement Sales Manager's main job responsibility is to interface with customers and potential customers while handling issues relating to the sales and potential sales of CEMEX products.
Job Responsibilities- Ability to learn the various customer segments as well as a detailed understanding of the overall construction sector as it relates to various economic metrics.
- Ability to grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities with current accounts as a mean for capturing new business.
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management.
- Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
- Communicate price information to customers and develop overall market price strategy in collaboration with Vice President of Cement Sales.
- Work with accounting & logistics as needed to solve customers' issues.
- Perform all other necessary duties as assigned.
Qualifications- 5-10 years' experience in building materials industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong time and organizational management skills
- Strong basic computer skills, which includes Microsoft Office
Working ConditionsLong periods of standing and/or walking required.
Some exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
Long periods of driving.
Physical Requirements- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering to a significant degree
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.

The expected base compensation for this position ranges from $99800.00 to $126900.00 depending on, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skill sets, experience, and education A general description of benefits includes medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, AD&D, short and long term disability, employee assistance program, 401k retirement, and paid time off (including paid sick leave as required by applicable state law).
