- What you will do:
- Secure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer's facility.
- Secure opportunities on customer requirements by working with Cooper's departments to develop a comprehensive bill of material.
- Follow up on all quotations submitted to customers, answer questions/concerns and Help close the order.
- Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management and other key personnel).
- Establish customer specific contracts.
- Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
- Support Sales Engineers in preparing solutions for customers.
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical products and applications.
- Knowledge of Control and Automation products to include PLC's, HMI's and VFD's.
- Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customers.
- Outgoing personality that works well with others.
- Ability to speak read and write proficiently in English.
- Maintains strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills.
- Motivated, Self-Starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office ©.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Minimum travel, sitting in vehicle to customer's place of business or job site, when required..
- Requires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant and peripheral vision for driving and product selection, and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building.
- Requires ability to clearly hear in-person and phone conversations.
- Primarily light industrial and office work areas. Exposure to construction sites, hard hat and safety sensitive areas. Moderate to high noise level.
Location: Delran, NJ or Belthlehem, PA or Fairfield, NJ
Salary: $80,000- $90K based on relevant experience
