About the Role

As an Account Executive, you'll own a full-cycle book of business selling to leading growth equity and private equity funds. From first conversation with a partner to multi-year platform agreement. Your buyers are Managing Directors, Heads of Origination, Operating Partners, and the data and IT leaders beside them; winning means rigorous discovery, proving value inside their real sourcing workflows, and a business case that holds up in front of the investment committee. You'll report to our Head of Sales, with a GTM Associate generating pipeline alongside you and direct lines to product, data, and leadership. Because we're early, you won't just work the playbook, you'll help write it.

What You Will Own
  • Your number: new logo and expansion quota across growth equity and private equity accounts, with a forecast you can call monthly and quarterly
  • Multi-threaded deal strategy: build partner and C-suite-level relationships; map complex orgs across investing, data, and IT/security
  • Discovery to Proof of Value: lead rigorous discovery; run outcome-tied POVs that quantify sourcing lift, cycle-time reduction, and win-rate impact
  • Executive business cases: craft partner-level ROI narratives and navigate security, privacy, and legal reviews end to end
  • First meeting to multi-year agreement: drive the full cycle, then partner with post-sales on rollouts, references, and expansion
  • In-person relationship building: be the face of Raylu at dinners, industry events, and regular time with partners and prospects
  • Build, don't just execute: turn customer insight into ICP refinement, product requirements, and the playbooks the next AEs inherit
What You Will Need
  • 3+ years closing complex B2B SaaS or data platforms, with 2+ selling into institutional investors or financial-services buyers
  • Consistent performance against $800K+ ARR quotas or equivalent enterprise targets
  • Obsession with pipeline generation and disciplined deal execution, grounded in a proven sales methodology
  • Working understanding of how funds operate from thesis, sourcing, diligence, close, and what deal teams are measured on
  • Ability to translate AI/LLM capabilities into partner-level ROI: time-to-thesis, coverage, hit rate, sourcing efficiency
  • Comfort running security, privacy, and compliance processes with data, IT, and legal stakeholders
  • Executive presence: you hold your own with Managing Directors and explain a complex product simply
Bonus
  • Experience selling to PE, VC, LPs, or a prior career inside one
  • Familiarity with LLMs, data privacy, and enterprise infosec reviews
  • Prior success turning POVs into multi-year platform agreements
Who You Are
  • Owner's mindset: autonomous, accountable, and relentless about outcomes
  • High-velocity: you generate pipeline, sequence deals, and keep momentum
  • Curious and technical: you learn fast, ask great questions, and simplify complexity
  • Ambitious and resilient: you like the hard problems and win through preparation
  • A builder: you get energized creating something from scratch and want to shape the team, not just join it
  • Kind and collaborative: you elevate the room and make teams better
Compensation & Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • High-performance in-office culture in Midtown Manhattan (Mon-Fri)
