Visiting Nurse Health System (VNHS) is seeking a results-driven, relationship-focused professional with a strong track record of growing business and influencing outcomes in healthcare. More than a business development position, this opportunity allows you to serve as a trusted partner to patients and families, guiding them through the hospice journey with empathy, dignity, and care.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare business development, especially admissions and referrals-and a proven track record managing key accounts in the Metro Atlanta market. This senior-level role is key to growing census, including building new relationships and accounts in territories such as Douglas County, supporting expansion for one of Georgia's longest-serving nonprofit hospice and home healthcare providers.

Why This Role is Different:

  • True Ownership: You run your territory like your own business, with the freedom to act and the support to succeed.
  • High Visibility & Recognition: Your impact, relationships, and results are valued and celebrated.
  • Purpose-Driven Work: Every connection you build supports patients and families when they need it most.
  • Relationships that Matter: You're not just building a network-you're building trust during deeply personal moments.
  • Freedom to Win with Heart: You're empowered to move fast, think strategically, and lead with both confidence and compassion.

What You'll Do:

Drive Growth with Purpose
  • Leverage your proven track record to develop and expand referral relationships across physicians, hospitals, senior living communities, rehab centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities that grow admissions while ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time.
  • Build a strong presence in your territory as both a trusted partner and compassionate advocate.

Build Relationships that Truly Matter
  • Establish meaningful, lasting partnerships with physicians, case managers, social workers, and healthcare leaders.
  • Use empathy, emotional intelligence, and active listening to support patients and families as they make important care decisions.
  • Help simplify the hospice process, offering reassurance and clarity during difficult transitions.

Own and Execute Your Strategy
  • Develop and execute a focused territory plan that balances growth with quality of care.
  • Prioritize high-impact relationships while remaining responsive to patient and family needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and adapt your approach to maximize both outcomes and experience.

Lead with Energy, Integrity, and Compassion
  • Bring urgency, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every interaction.
  • Balance a competitive, results-driven mindset with a sincere commitment to patient dignity and comfort
  • Represent VNHS values-Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Stewardship, and Care-in everything you do.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of healthcare sales experience (Hospice or Home Health preferred)
  • Proven track record of growing referrals, managing key accounts, and delivering measurable results.
  • Knowledge of the Metro Atlanta healthcare market is a plus.
  • A natural ability to connect, influence, and build trust quickly.
  • Empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence, you care deeply about the people you serve.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and confident working independently
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $67,068 - $95,000 base salary + growth potential
