About the Role:
PubMatic is seeking an experienced Account Executive, Commerce Media to drive growth across our commerce and retail media business. This role is focused on selling audience and media solutions to shopper marketing agencies, CPG advertisers, and retail media buyers. The ideal candidate brings an existing network of agency and brand relationships, understands how commerce media is bought and sold, and can independently own revenue generation from prospecting through close.
What You'll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business.
- Drive revenue with shopper marketing agencies, CPG advertisers, and commerce-focused agency teams.
- Build and expand relationships within holding company commerce centers of excellence, agency strategy leads, and hands-on retail media buyers.
- Sell PubMatic's commerce media and audience solutions aligned to grocery and retail shopper data.
- Leverage existing PubMatic relationships with HoldCo's and Independent agencies to drive both top-down and bottom-up activations to influence strategy and execution.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Ad Solutions, and Leadership to deliver client value.
- Represent PubMatic as a trusted commerce media partner in client meetings, QBRs, and industry conversations.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in digital media, commerce media, or retail media sales.
- Proven success selling into shopper marketing agencies and/or directly to CPG advertisers.
- Existing relationships with buyers who actively purchase retail media and commerce audiences, especially within grocery.
- Experience owning client relationships (not solely operating in an overlay or support role).
- Strong understanding of agency structures, including how commerce and retail media budgets are planned and activated.
- Confident communicator with a consultative selling approach.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Compensation DisclosureIn accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
