Full Job Description
You'll serve as a senior seller-doer, leading delivery on major rail and transit programs while driving targeted business development across the Mid-Atlantic market.
You'll provide executive leadership across the full project lifecycle, including pre-construction, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
You'll lead capture efforts for PMC, construction management, and Owner's Representative opportunities, building client relationships, shaping pursuit strategy, and leading proposals and interviews.
You'll oversee multiple design-build and alternative delivery contracts, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, claims, and contractual requirements.
You'll serve as a senior client advisor and primary liaison across executive leadership, project controls, legal, regulatory agencies, local jurisdictions, utilities, and other key stakeholders.
You'll lead multidisciplinary teams across construction management, design support, safety, quality, environmental compliance, project controls, and stakeholder coordination.
You'll establish project governance, reporting, and performance controls that proactively surface risks and support compliance with applicable rail, FTA, and FRA requirements.
You'll strengthen Accenture's Mid-Atlantic market presence by developing relationships with agencies such as WMATA, VRE, MARC/MDOT, DRPT, Amtrak, and other regional transit and transportation authorities
Site Specific: Washington, DC / Mid-Atlantic client sites. Every role here has some in-person time for collaboration, for learning, and because capital projects happen in physical places. We'll be as flexible as we can around how you make that work. The current template requires either flexible or site-specific work-location language.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large, complex construction, infrastructure, rail, or transit programs
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, program management, or Owner's Representative leadership involving major capital projects
Minimum 5 years of experience leading client relationships, business development, capture, or pursuit activities within the transportation or infrastructure market
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience delivering major rail or transit programs for WMATA, VRE, MARC/MDOT, DRPT, Amtrak, or comparable transportation agencies
Experience with design-build and other alternative project delivery methods
Experience leading PMC, construction management, or Owner's Representative engagements
Professional licensure or industry certification such as PE, CCM, PMP, DBIA, or equivalent
$225,000 - $275,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
