Job Description:
Operations/Supply Planner positions offered by ABB Inc. (Richmond, Virginia). Responsible for developing and executing integrated production and supply plans, managing capacity planning, coordinating Sales & Operations Planning processes, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. Analyze production and supply chain data, drive ERP-based planning processes, facilitate cross-functional planning meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plan adherence and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience performing production planning and purchasing
• In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience
• Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Using SAP ERP, including the Production or Material management module
- Working in supplier relations, including performing Supplier Management and using planning tools, quality processes, commercial terms, and standard plannings
- Performing capacity planning, material planning, and inventory management
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $129,375 to $186,500 per year.
