Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary: The Nurse Practitioner assumes full responsibility for the care provided to patients by appropriately coordinating hospital resources and personnel. This includes Case Management, Social Work, Home Care, Nursing and Ancillary Services to facilitate patient throughput in a timely fashion. Consideration is given to the patient's stage of development according to the life cycle.
Qualifications
Responsibilities: Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a RN. Demonstrates competency as a Nurse Practitioner.
