Our bioparma client provides essential toxicology and laboratory testing services to worldwide biopharmaceutical organizations developing new molecules. vaccines, medical devices, drugs. They require a Toxicology Leader to join CRO senior management.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee management of ALL operational areas and laboratories related to toxicology.
- Responsible for GLP toxicology, pharmacology, agrochemical, chemical, safety, pharmaceutical testing.
- Animal health, necropsy, clinical pathology, histology.
- Guide and offer technical support to specialists at all levels.
- Lead animal care committee, literate re current publications on animal practices, drug development.
- Set clear goals and objectives, and perform annual staff evaluations.
- Provide mentoring/coaching for both professional and scientific development of staff.
- Identify and predict staffing requirements and help out with recruitment.
- Budgets, documentation, client liaison activities.
REQUIREMENTS: - MS or PhD in life sciences combined with > 15 years within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Strongly prefer acknowledged leader in the CRO industry.
- Visionary, leading above mentioned operational groups toward future growth and development.
- French English bilingual essential.
- GLP background.
- Toxicology experience essential.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience in work optimization within large groups is an asset.
- Staff management, coaching, mentoring.
