Responsibilities
Oversee all operational areas and laboratories related to toxicology
Manage GLP toxicology, pharmacology, agrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical testing
Conduct animal health assessments, necropsies, clinical pathology, and histology
Guide and provide technical support to specialists at various levels
Lead the animal care committee and stay updated on animal practices and drug development
Establish clear goals and perform annual staff evaluations
Mentor staff for both professional and scientific growth
Assess staffing needs and support recruitment efforts
Handle budgets, documentation, and client communications
