The subteam for this role will be:
Software non-determinism diagnostics team.You will:
- Design and build infrastructure and tooling to diagnose software non-determinism across autonomous driving systems
- Investigate and resolve non-deterministic execution patterns across Waymo codebases
You have:- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in software engineering or a related technical field
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and systems debugging
We prefer:- Experience with statistical data analysis, anomaly detection, or tracing tools
- Understanding of common sources of software non-determinism (e.g., concurrency/race conditions, floating-point determinism, etc.)
- Experience with graph execution frameworks
