The subteam for this role will be:
On the ML Ops team, we're building next-gen Waymo datagen infrastructure. The intern will join the team building the ML Datagen Controlplane - a system for orchestrating, prioritizing, and tracking datagen requests & status. Work will range from building out new functionality in the controlplane to expanding upon UI & system visualization functionality to support the needs of our growing user base.
You will:- Work with ml ops team members & customers to define and implement large scale datagen infrastructure
- Translate high level requirements into a working design
- Code in C++ (with assistance of agentic coding tools)
- Test & debug systems & pipelines
You have:- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Solid foundations in algorithms, data structures, and debugging systems
We prefer:- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SQL & data analysis
