Business Systems Analyst II - HCM-Payroll
Location: Savannah/Ellabell, GA - 5-days Onsite


Role Overview

The SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary functional and technical resource for SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), with a strong focus on SAP US Payroll, Time Management, and HR business processes at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, continuous improvement, and strategic evolution of SAP HCM solutions to support business objectives and deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll and workforce management processes.

Working closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, external partners, and Korea Headquarters, the analyst leads requirements gathering, solution design, system enhancements, issue resolution, and project implementation activities. The position acts as a trusted advisor to the business, translating organizational needs into scalable SAP solutions while promoting standardization, operational excellence, and SAP best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the support, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of SAP HCM solutions, including SAP US Payroll and Time Management, to ensure system reliability and business continuity.
  • Manage payroll and time management processes by validating employee data, supporting bi-weekly payroll activities, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll outcomes.
  • Analyze business requirements, conduct fit-gap assessments, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and translate business needs into functional specifications and SAP-compliant solutions.
  • Coordinate incident management, troubleshooting, system defect resolution, interface monitoring, testing activities, and user acceptance support to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with Korea Headquarters, HR leadership, IT teams, and external partners to implement HCM enhancements, align global standards, and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Develop functional documentation, process designs, testing plans, knowledge management resources, and project estimates to support system governance and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating emerging SAP technologies, recommending process enhancements, and leading initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance, user experience, and business outcomes.
Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on SAP HCM experience, including configuration, development, implementation, and support.
  • Minimum of 7 years of ERP project execution and project management experience, with responsibility for delivering complex business solutions.
  • Strong expertise in SAP HCM, SAP US Payroll, and Time Management processes, configuration, and support.
  • Experience supporting business operations within a manufacturing environment, including repetitive and discrete manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, translate technical concepts into business solutions, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across global, matrixed organizations and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • SAP HR Certification or other relevant SAP Human Capital Management certifications.
