Overview

The HNW Advisory group is a business designed for clients with diverse and complex financial priorities; those with a need for robust planning, asset management, estate or trust services, and private banking who are focused on preserving and building wealth.   

TheWealth Advisoris responsible forrelationship development and coordinating andprovidingtrusted advice,guidanceandexpertiseto existing and prospective High Net Worth clients.Wealth Advisorswork as the quarterback with a team of specialists within the Wealth Group (i.e., Private Bankers,Portfolio Managers,Planners,RPS Administrators,Trust Administrators andPhilanthropy Officers, as appropriate), andare responsible forengaging other specialistsas needed.By acting as quarterback for these services, the Relationship Manager relieves the family of the burden of doing so themselves.The Relationship Managermonitors,implements,and coordinatestheseservices.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,400 - $199,000 per year. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidates relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

KeyAccountabilities

Within theteam-based coverage model, the Relationship Managers key accountabilities include:

Manage a portfolio of client relationships:

  • Responsible for client relationship cultivation and retention, inspiring confidence throughdemonstratedexpertiseand meeting ongoing client needs.
  • Utilize interactive and analytical skills to understand client needs and develop a clear perspective on the clients situation to offer solutions that meet theirobjectivesor address specific concerns.
  • Including, but not limited to regular client meetings to review andupdateclient goals, financialinformationand investments.
  • Assessclientsrisk tolerance and return goals and construct an investment portfolio designed to meet these goals.
  • Construct, rebalance andmodifyclient investment portfolios based on changing client circumstances, cash needs, changes in risk tolerance, and/or market conditions.

Provide Advice to clients through Financial Planning:

  • Ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients andmaintaina holistic approachto planning.
  • Collaboratein conjunction with our dedicated financial planning team to deliver and implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Proficiencywithintroductionsto in-house insurance experts and other financial resources.
  • Assess opportunities anddeterminealternatives and solutions to meet client needs.

Prospect and develop new wealth business to and from internal referrals:

  • Fosterproductive relationships with business partners in Consumer and Commercial.
  • Work closely with Private Bankers to develop and expand wallet share with existing wealth relationships.
  • Build a strong network byparticipatingin community affairs, activities, and organizations tomaintainvisibility and enhance the business development function.

Maintainan in-depth knowledge of economic and financial conditionsappropriate toadvise clients throughout the business cycle:

  • Consistently researching and developing subject matterexpertiseto consult clients appropriately.
  • Maintain knowledge ofcurrentdevelopments and trends in all relevant technical/professional knowledgearea.
  • Understands the industry and the factors that affect company performance, uses industry knowledge in planning and decision-making.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 7+ plusyearsexperience in wealth management developing business withhigh net worthindividuals and families
  • Bachelors degreerequired, MBA, CFP,CFAor JD preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of specific target market
  • Established network of COIs (centers of influence) and sources for referrals
  • Working knowledge of investment markets, products and services and the ability to implement investment strategies to meet client needs and goals
  • Mustpossessexcellent sales and closing skills
  • CFP, MBA, or professional designation(s) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop a robust sales pipeline
