Responsibilities
Develop embedded software features for precision mining using C++, Linux, and GitHub.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues through systematic triage.
Participate in Agile methodology and contribute to sprints effectively.
Draft and implement software validation plans for new features.
Collaborate with global teams across multiple engineering disciplines.
Engage in design reviews and daily stand-ups with the team to ensure alignment.
Conduct systems requirements breakdown, software design, and testing activities.
This position supports a Precision Mining engineering group focused on embedded electronic controls for precision mining applications utilizing hyperspectral analysis. The Software Engineer will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test software features for these systems, collaborating with a global team of machine, systems, software, and validation engineers to deliver high-quality precision mining technology solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop precision mining features using embedded C++, Linux, and GitHub
Resolve issues through triage and troubleshooting
Work within an Agile Sprint environment
Develop validation plans
Coordinate with a global team of machine, systems, software, and validation teams
Collaborate effectively within a culturally diverse work group
Perform systems requirements decomposition, design, development, reviews, integration, and testing
