Position Description:Perform project management and quality reviews of manufacturing products and services from concept through to production. Review compliance of and implement quality and production requirements and standards at manufacturer facilities. Monitor vendor capabilities, production status, factory loading, capacity, and overall manufacturer performance metrics.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualification or re-qualification of vendors. Review manufacturers' process and quality documentation. Provide feedback and recommendations on plans to ensure alignment with client and xPL process expectations.
- Lead continuous quality and process reviews to support manufacturer performance. Monitor performance and make recommendations for removing non-performing manufacturers from company portfolio.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with manufacturing and production partners ("partners") aligned with projects and clients.
- Research potential partners and recommend future relationships for specific programs.
- Oversee manufacturing and production partners Material Resource Planning (MRP) and performance. Collect data from partners for inventory and upstream orders.
- Review and assess production data outputs from partners in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of partners' production processes, performance metrics, and quality records. Prepare regular reports that track progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback and data for xPL management and team review and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Document and track lessons learned from similar products and projects and disseminate findings to relevant partners and internal xPL teams.
- Manage root cause analysis investigations to identify underlying causes of quality issues. Communicate and collaborate with partners to identify and propose recommendations for corrective and preventative actions to remediate.
- Assess risks associated with product quality and supply chain disruptions and collaborate with project team and partners to develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
- Review key performance indicator (KPI) reports, document, and escalate issues to appropriate internal team members for remediation.
- Assess manufacturing and production environments to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field of study, with minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing production, or similar role, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Critical thinking and analysis skills for decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to apply active listening skills to hear and understand ideas, options, and opinions of others
- Professional verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation delivery
- Project management experience, organizational skills with attention to detail, and able to quickly adapt and prioritize responsibilities while working in fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal and team building skills with ability to work across organizational levels and with clients and vendors
- Experience with continuous improvement culture, concepts, principles, methods, and tools
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and project management applications
- Regular travel
