Hamilton Park Nursing and Rehabilitationis looking for a Wound Care RN to jointhe team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!
Wound Care RN Responsibilities- Manage preventativewound programs and wound treatment programs
- Complete woundanalysis reports
- Provides educationregarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces,dressing selections, and other therapies
- Conduct wound roundsto residents to monitor resident status and progress
- Administer prescribedmedication and procedures as necessary
- Notify other nursingpersonnel of any change in skin/woundcondition of residents
- Perform any servicesor assignments within the scope of practice of a wound care RN
Wound Care RN Requirements- Valid, current RNlicense
- Must be knowledgeableof nursing practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Exceptionalcommunication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred- Wound carecertification
- Previous experience inlong-term care
- Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
