Full Job Description
Description

Behind every high-performing team is someone who makes the office work. That's this role.

As our Workplace & Office Operations Manager, you'll be the operational heartbeat of our Boston office - the person who makes 60+ sellers ,and marketing professionals feel like they can focus entirely on their day to day. You'll own the physical space, the vendor relationships, the culture moments, and the systems that keep everything running. This isn't a role for someone who maintains the status quo. It's for someone who builds, improves, and takes pride in the details.

As we scale the Boston team from 25 onward, this role grows with us - with the opportunity to build out the ops function, define how we work, and shape the culture of a Series B company on a steep trajectory.

What you'll own

The office, end to end: Run daily operations across facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and building management. Be the first to notice what's not working and the first to fix it. Own our lease relationship and negotiate with service providers.

The employee experience: From day-one onboarding logistics to team lunches, offsites, and the rhythm of the week - you'll create the environment where people do their best work. You'll coordinate with People and IT to make new-hire arrivals seamless and departures smooth.

Budget and vendor management: Own the office budget, track spend, and make smart tradeoffs. Manage vendor contracts for everything from cleaning and security to catering and equipment. Build relationships, not dependencies.

Safety and compliance: Ensure the office meets health and safety standards. Act as the point of contact for building security, fire safety, and emergency protocols.

Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with our VP of Sales, Head of People, and Finance team to align office operations with company headcount plans, events, and culture initiatives. Be a trusted partner - not a back-office function.

Culture and events Own our Boston office culture moments: all-hands support, team celebrations, guest experiences, and the day-to-day things that make this a place people are glad to come to.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or a similar role - ideally at a fast-growing startup or tech company
  • Someone who thrives with ownership and ambiguity; you don't wait to be told what needs doing
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills - you know how to get the best deal and hold people accountable
  • A natural connector with excellent interpersonal skills; you're the person everyone knows and trusts
  • Detail-oriented without being rigid - you can hold a lot of moving parts and stay calm when priorities shift
  • Experience supporting onboarding, events, or executive coordination is a plus

Important: this is a full-time, in-office role

Our Boston office is where the team actually builds - and this role is central to that. We're looking for someone who wants to be present, who sees in-office ownership as a feature of this job rather than a constraint. If that resonates with you, this is the right role.
