Workforce Intelligence Consultant
About the RoleAxuall is seeking an experienced, client-facing healthcare analytics professional to lead executive engagements for our workforce intelligence suite of products. These products combine Axuall's curated clinical workforce data network with AI, so health system leaders can answer their hardest workforce and market questions in days rather than weeks. You will be the person who sits down with a CMO, COO, or department chair, understands the decision they are facing, and uses Claude and Axuall's data to produce the analysis, report, or interactive tool that answers it. You will also help us learn which of those engagements are repeatable, and those learnings will shape the library of agents and analyses we offer.
What You'll DoAs a member of the product organization, with a dotted line to our head of Customer Experience, you will own client engagements for Axuall's workforce intelligence suite, from first conversation to finished deliverable. Specific responsibilities include:
- Partner directly with health system leaders (CEOs, COOs, CMOs, CFOs, department chairs, recruiting and credentialing leaders) to understand their strategic questions and define the analysis that answers them
- Lead collaborative design sessions with customers and prospects, in person and virtual
- Use Claude and the Axuall MCP data connector to run analyses, test hypotheses, and build deliverables: reports, spreadsheets, slides, and interactive tools
- Cover topics such as provider market supply and demand, recruitment targets and feasibility, competitor and alignment analysis, attrition and succession exposure, and service-line growth
- Review every output for accuracy and executive usefulness before it reaches a client. A wrong answer on a strategic decision costs trust, so rigor is part of the job
- Refine prompts, templates, and analysis approaches, and build a reusable library from what works
- Validate the market: capture which questions executives ask, what they value, what they'd pay for, and where the data or product falls short
- Share your findings with the product team in a structured form, such as use-case recommendations and feedback on output quality
- Support sales and client services with demos, executive conversations, and engagement scoping
What You'll Bring- 5 - 7 years of healthcare analytics experience, with a track record of working closely with executives to answer key strategic questions using claims and market data.
- Healthcare analytics or consulting experience working with health system executives, whether at a consulting or advisory firm, a healthcare data and analytics company, or inside a health system strategy or planning group.
- A proven record of turning data into insight that executives act on, including executive-ready reports and presentations
- Strong understanding of the provider market: physician recruitment and retention, workforce supply and demand, service-line strategy, and referral and alignment dynamics
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, including the judgment to tell a credible finding from a plausible-sounding one
- Demonstrated technical interest in AI and a habit of adopting modern technologies to answer questions faster and better. You might have used Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini for analysis, built workflows or automations, or experimented with new tools on your own. You do not need a software engineering background, but you should be curious, hands-on, and aware of how LLMs can go wrong
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the presence to run a working session with a C-suite leader
- A track record of ownership, initiative, and delivering results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
