Capgemini is seeking an experienced Workday Compensation Consultant with strong expertise in Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation. In this role, you will support client engagements across implementation, optimization, and Application Management Services environments.
You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to design, configure, test, deploy, and support scalable Workday Compensation solutions aligned with compensation and Total Rewards strategies.
Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes. Focus must be provided on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a clients applications and systems. Develop your knowledge in a business andoror industry domain and a Saas or Package Based solution. One can contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Module. Application Consultant is responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, andoror be responsible for the design and delivery of end user training. Your Role
3 Support Workday Compensation workstreams across full-cycle implementations, tenant deployments, optimization initiatives, and AMS engagements.
3 Gather business requirements, facilitate discovery workshops, and translate client needs into scalable Workday solutions.
3 Design and configure Compensation Grades, Grade Profiles, Compensation Packages, Compensation Plans, and Compensation Business Processes.
3 Configure merit plans, bonus plans, compensation review processes, market adjustments, and stock or equity programs.
3 Support annual compensation planning and review activities.
3 Develop functional designs, configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge-transfer materials.
3 Perform unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation.
3 Analyze and resolve configuration issues, compensation process failures, service requests, and production incidents.
3 Perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions.
3 Support Workday releases through impact assessments, testing, and evaluation of new functionality.
3 Identify opportunities to optimize compensation processes, reporting, and system functionality.
3 Collaborate with HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Reporting, and Integration teams.
3 Lead design discussions, present recommendations, and serve as a trusted advisor to HR, Compensation, and Total Rewards stakeholders.
3 Support post-production activities and continuous system enhancements.
3 Manage assigned deliverables across multiple client engagements while communicating risks, issues, and status updates.
Your Skills and Experience
3 Bachelors Degree
3 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with a primary focus on Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation.
3 Experience supporting Workday Compensation implementations, tenant deployments, optimization projects, or AMS engagements.
3 Strong functional knowledge of Compensation Grades, Grade Profiles, Compensation Packages, Compensation Plans, and Compensation Business Processes.
3 Hands-on experience configuring merit plans, bonus plans, compensation review processes, market adjustments, and stock or equity programs.
3 Experience supporting annual compensation planning and review cycles.
3 Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Workday configurations.
3 Experience conducting discovery sessions, requirements workshops, design reviews, and client presentations.
3 Experience developing configuration documentation, functional designs, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge-transfer materials.
3 Strong understanding of unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation.
3 Experience troubleshooting Workday Compensation configuration and process issues.
3 Knowledge of Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Compensation Analytics.
3 Understanding of compensation governance, compliance requirements, and leading practices.
3 Experience collaborating across Workday HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
3 Familiarity with Workday integrations that impact Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and financial systems.
3 Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
3 Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements in a consulting or managed services environment.
3 Workday Compensation or Advanced Compensation certification is preferred.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911- $195,199

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
