Full Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Workday Payroll Lead with expertise in Canadian Payroll and Workday Payroll implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining Workday Payroll solutions, along with broader payroll system knowledge (e.g., ADP, Oracle). US Payroll experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support the payroll workstream in Workday implementation projects.
  • Design and deploy Workday Payroll solutions, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Manage Workday Payroll configurations, updates, and migrations to production.
  • Provide support for payroll processes, including post-payroll activities (e.g., posting, bank transfers, paychecks).
  • Address legal, regulatory, and year-end reporting requirements in Workday.
  • Research and resolve Workday Payroll issues and support new client requirements.
  • Manage small onshore and offshore functional teams.
  • Advise clients on industry standards, leading practices, and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate design options through prototyping and apply Workday/Accenture methodologies.
  • Provide project status updates to the Project Manager and manage client relationships.

  • Workday Partner Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in a Senior Consultant or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

  • Experience in Canadian Payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of US Payroll processes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR functions and processes.
  • Proven ability to manage risks, budgets, and resources in complex global engagements.
