What will you be doing?World Wide Technology's Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is unlike any other testing and research lab - an ecosystem of Labs, Learning Paths, Cyber Range, Proof of Concepts, Lab Hosting Programs, and WWT Research that gives customers, partners, and employees hands-on access to the latest technology across every domain.
The WWT Industry Solutions Experience (WISE), located in Building 62 on WWT's tech campus, extends the ATC out to the edge. Where the ATC showcases core infrastructure and technical capability, the WISE showcases how that infrastructure comes together into line-of-business and industry-specific solutions.
As Business Development Manager for the WISE, you will act as the product owner for the space: setting the roadmap of industry showcases, prioritizing what gets built and refreshed, and ensuring every experience ties back to a clear business outcome for the vertical it represents. You will also own partner management for the emerging, niche technology partners our vertical practice teams engage to bring these solutions to life - from initial engagement through onboarding and ongoing program management. Success in this role depends on close, continuous partnership with vertical practice teams, account teams, and the broader ATC organization to accelerate and enhance WWT's industry-specific offerings.
Responsibilites:WISE Product Ownership: - Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritization of WISE showcases and demonstrations.
- Partner with vertical practice teams (e.g., healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, public sector) to determine which industry and line-of-business solutions get featured.
- Keep showcases current, relevant, and aligned to market and customer trends; retire content that no longer serves the space.
Partner Management: - Identify, engage, and onboard emerging and niche technology partners sourced by vertical practice teams.
- Manage day-to-day partner relationships, agreements, and program requirements needed to feature partner solutions in the WISE.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between niche partners and WWT's broader partner and vertical practice organizations.
Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement: - Partner with sales and account teams to build tailored WISE experiences for customer tours, visits, and Executive Briefing Conferences (EBCs).
- Present and demonstrate industry solutions directly to prospects and customers.
- Maintain communication with account teams and vertical practice leads on active WISE opportunities.
Sales Enablement: - Develop enablement content, tour scripts, and collateral that help account teams and vertical practice sellers position WISE showcases.
- Train field and practice teams to scale industry-solution selling through the WISE.
- Work with industry marketing and event planning teams to create collateral and coordinate capabilities planning for events such as EBCs, partner visits, and sales summits.
Program & Service Delivery: - Coordinate the build-out, refresh, and retirement of WISE showcases in collaboration with ATC operations, developers, and vertical practice teams.
- Triage incoming requests for new industry demonstrations and route them to the right process.
Revenue & Business Development: - Identify opportunities to turn WISE engagements into revenue-generating programs.
- Report business and forecasting metrics to ATC and vertical practice leadership on a regular cadence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with ATC leadership, Global Solutions & Architecture, Global Partner Alliance, Vertical Practice teams, and Direct Sales to ensure alignment and "no surprises" on business being pursued or won.
