Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Engineer to design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise wireless network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in wireless technologies, network security, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and secure wireless connectivity across organizational environments.
Key Responsibilities Wireless Network Design & Deployment - Design and implement enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions based on business requirements.
- Deploy, configure, and manage wireless access points, controllers, and cloud-managed wireless platforms.
- Perform wireless site surveys, coverage analysis, and capacity planning.
- Optimize wireless networks for performance, availability, and scalability.
- Configure and maintain SSIDs, VLANs, authentication methods, and wireless security policies.
Network Operations & Troubleshooting - Monitor wireless network performance, availability, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, interference, roaming, and performance issues.
- Analyze wireless traffic, logs, and packet captures to identify root causes.
- Perform firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and hardware replacements.
- Maintain wireless network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
Wireless Security - Implement and manage wireless security controls including:
- WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise
- 802.1X authentication
- RADIUS integration
- Network segmentation
- Guest access controls
- Monitor wireless networks for unauthorized access points and security threats.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security improvements for wireless infrastructure.
Infrastructure Integration - Integrate wireless networks with enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Collaborate with network, security, and systems teams on infrastructure projects.
- Support cloud-based wireless management solutions.
- Assist with network migrations, upgrades, and expansion projects.
Required Technical Skills - Strong understanding of wireless networking concepts:
- 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards
- Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E technologies
- RF fundamentals

- Experience supporting large-scale wireless deployments preferred.
