SummaryThe Windchill Administrator will focus primarily on supporting the business side of PTC Windchill and be an alternate to our System and Creo Admins. This individual will help users but also tweak configurations for applications such as Windchill PLM, SIM, Creo Parametric, Creo Illustrate and InService TCD. They will also be responsible for identifying problems and creating solutions within Windchill. This person must communicate well with users and management alike.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Work with application users to provide support for Windchill CAD, Document, Workflows and Bills of Materials
- Train new users on how to use Windchill
- Perform Set-States when needed
- Trouble-shoot issues with workflows
- Review logs for issues
- User Administration (maintenance, permissions, cleanup)
- Lead Windchill projects and activities (coordination of all sites/departments and IT resources)
- Tweak existing configurations (object types, business rules, workflows, ESI configurations & files)
- Work with System Administrator to support and perform upgrades, code deployments and configuration changes
- Maintain Windchill configuration and maintenance documentation
- Engineering process improvements, best practices and documentation
Qualifications- Bachelors' degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or technology related field
- 5+ yrs. of Windchill implementation, administration, or support experience
- 3+ yrs. CREO implementation, administration, or support experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to self-direct in fast-paced environment but still complete tasks and projects
- Well organized, detail oriented, results driven
- Experience in a heavy mobile equipment industry a plus but not required
