Description and Requirements

General Description: The Business Analyst supports the business needs of the Operations team through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement, while overseeing internal quality control audits to drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain reporting aligned to operational performance and productivity metrics.
  • Build and enhance dashboards and automated reporting solutions (e.g., Power Bi)
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for operational engagement and improvement.
  • Prepare executive-ready insights and materials for leadership meetings.
  • Conduct internal process and quality control audits to ensure process efficiency and compliance.
  • Identify process gaps and drive recommendations for standardization and improvement.
  • Support staffing and capacity planning based on production and workload trends (e.g., inventory levels and service level agreements).
  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, Training, and IT to align best practices and drive adoption.
  • Support data quality and integrity across systems to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Assist with technology and AI initiatives, including testing, implementation, and performance measurement.
  • Execute ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI (or similar tools).
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with process audit, quality control, continuous improvement, and data governance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with strong organizational discipline.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with initiative to improve reporting, processes, and efficiencies.
  • Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred; AIM, C1, and/or ImageRight knowledge a plus.
  • Comfort with emerging technology, AI tools, and evolving operational environments.
  • Requires flexibility with work schedule; limited travel may be required.
