Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Architect and engineer high-performance, ultra-reliable data pipelines that seamlessly integrate diverse weather datasets into immersive visualization products. • Drive the next generation of weather automation by leveraging advanced programming and scripting to build smarter, faster product workflows. • Harvest and synthesize weather data from a vast array of global resources, transforming raw information into actionable formats for our core weather visualization systems. • Own the product lifecycle from initial spark to on-air triumph, leading high-impact projects that define our technical roadmap. • Establish the standard for technical excellence by producing comprehensive documentation for data management and product releases. • Utilize GIS technology to weave complex databases with georeferenced spatial data, creating rich, contextual weather stories. • Build a revolutionary graphical toolset that empowers our team with first-to-market, enhanced storytelling capabilities. • Push the boundaries of software performance through rigorous operational testing and feedback loops for new releases. • Collaborate as a technical expert to troubleshoot and optimize weather graphic production systems.
