Wealth Management, VP Product Development

Description

Within Wealth Management (WM) Solutions, the Solutions Product Development group collaborates with various WM and AM investment solutions teams to develop and deliver products for use in the Private Bank (PB), Chase Wealth Management (CWM), JPMorgan Advisors (JPMA), and National Branch lines of business.

ROLE OUTLINE

This is aVice President role focused onproduct development and management. The Product Development team is responsible for launching and managing fee based, advisory products for distribution across four distinct US distribution channels. These investments1whether proprietary or managed by third parties1are held inSeparately Managed Accounts (SMAs)for mandates across all asset classes (Multi-Asset, Fixed Income, Equity, Alternatives, and Structured Products/Derivatives) and can be managedactively or via passive/index strategies.

In addition, the team is responsible for managing the product lifecycle across these programs and driving key strategic changes to streamline offerings across the channels.This Product role requires strong expertise across all traditional asset classes1particularlymulti-assetandfixed income1with additional experience in specialized areas such asderivativesconsidered a plus. The role also requires the ability tobuild trusted relationshipswith key stakeholders andinfluence effectively across organizational levelsto achieve strategic objectives.

  • Partner with leaders across the company on designing and structuring new innovative offerings or enhance existing capabilities to ensure the best solutions are offered to our customers
  • Independently lead product launches or changes collaborating across the investment management, business channels, trading, legal, compliance, risk, finance, tax, operations and technology teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise on our offerings throughout the organization, assisting in addressing complex requests and representing these offerings in committees and forums
  • Lead efforts to consolidate products, streamlining the offering to clients to optimize resource use and focus on areas of revenue and asset growth

  • Provide ongoing product support and coordinate across business lines to ensure a unified client experience for new launches and the implementation of key program changes, both tactically and strategically

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with product experience in wealth management, asset management, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Experience with investment products and asset classes, with a preference for prior experience in multi-asset class solutions and specialized asset classes such as structured products and derivatives.
  • Proven track record in designing new investment products and successfully launching new channels, programs, or products to the market while aligning critical dependencies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms, and to logically present complex concepts to key partners and senior leaders
  • Team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work and influence effectively with individuals and larger groups from different functional areas and varying seniority
  • Analytical and data-driven, with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills to find innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Proactive communicator with a self-starter mentality
  • Advanced degree preferred, alongside industry certifications and accreditations (CFA, CAIA, CFP, etc.)
