The Role
We are seeking a Wealth Advisory Manager. Our Wealth Advisory Managers are committed to being part of a team that delivers comprehensive wealth management solutions and provides outstanding service to prospects, clients, and partners.
The Wealth Advisory Manager is responsible for supporting Wealth Advisors by providing assistance with a variety of tasks so the advisors are more efficient and focused on business development and covering existing clients. This role will be responsible for supporting the advisor in day-to-day client management and will be providing portfolio management and financial planning guidance through phone conversations, email, and face-to-face meetings with our clients. This role may also act as a resource to other team members and provide guidance on wealth management topics.
This position is based out of our Dallas Office. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Advisor to assess client's overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan and portfolio strategy.
- Oversee and support the team in pre-client-meeting preparation and post-client-meeting processing.
- Prepare customized proposals for clients and prospective clients.
- Assists in the development of complex and highly customized financial portfolios.
- Collaborate with the Advisor and Investment Management Committee to deliver investment recommendations.
- Partner with Advisor to develop asset allocations to meet clients' risk profile and time horizon.
- Monitor and follow up with all action items from client meetings.
- Calendar and confirm client meetings for Wealth Advisors.
- Knowledge of key financial, investment and risk management concepts.
- Co-manage and provide leadership within the team.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 + years in client facing advisory roles. Concentrations in wealth management, financial, estate planning, and/or tax related work.
- CFP® preferred, or CFP education completed and able to obtain credentials within 6 months of joining the firm. Other credentials a plus.
- 4-year college degree with a preferred emphasis in economics, business, finance, accounting or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of finance and capital markets required.
- Technical proficiency in financial planning, retirement planning, investment management and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working with MoneyGuide Pro or eMoney, Orion and Salesforce (similar systems).
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
