As a result, we have a full-time position available for a water/wastewater project engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities include:- Serving as the lead civil/environmental engineer on water and wastewater projects
- Overseeing design as well as performing technical design tasks
- Assisting with drafting proposals with scope and pricing
- Assisting with reviewing client billings
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
- Travel will be required (Up to 25%)
The successful candidate must have all of the following:- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
- At least four years of relevant experience
- PE license in Florida with the ability to obtain in additional states
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:- Consulting experience
- Experience designing water and wastewater projects, with specialization in one or more of the following project types:
- Large diameter pipelines
- Water/wastewater treatment
- Pump stations
- Effluent disposal and biosolids
- Stormwater
- Experience with GIS, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, BioWin
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D and StormWise
- Desire to grow into a project management role
