Dewberry has an immediateopening for aWater/Wastewater Project Engineerexperienced in water and wastewater planning, design and construction phase engineering services in ourParsippany, NJ office.This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to become part of an exciting team of professionals working in a great environment and applying the latest technology.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Employees pay a share of Dewberry92s premium expenses (on a pre-tax basis) for medical and dental insurance plans.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate and work within multi-disciplined teams for the planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater system improvements, including: pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, and treatment facilities. Perform technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation for water and wastewater projects.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor92s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • 4-6 years of related experience. Specific experience preparing reports and design plans and specifications for water and wastewater system projects in NJ / NY, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and treatment facilities.
  • NJ PE License strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling including experience with WaterCAD and SewerCAD strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus)
  • Familiar with GIS software.
  • Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with otherengineering and supportdisciplines.
  • Experience interfacing with clients and developing client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel, as some travel may be required.
  • Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $97,038 to $124,763 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for Parsippany only.
