Reports To: General Manager or Owner
As a
Restoration Project Manager (RPM), you are responsible for managing restoration projects from contract through close-out following property damage events such as water, fire, or mold losses. This role is primarily production-focused. Candidates with estimating experience may support estimating efforts as needed; however, field execution, internal teams and subcontractor management, margin protection, and job close-out are the core responsibilities of this role. You will spend significant time in the field ensuring jobs are completed correctly, safely, on schedule, and in accordance with Paul Davis standards.
What you'll be responsible for: - Manage residential and commercial restoration projects from start to finish including initial scope of work, budgets, timelines, and subcontractors.
- You will be the first point of contact for client relations. This job has significant on-call expectation.
- Develop proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and technology tools used in restoration management
- Protect margins through disciplined job controls and change management
- Communicate clearly and proactively with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure job documentation, punch lists, and close-out are completed accurately
Pay Structure & Hours:- Competitive base salary

Qualifications:Required
- Integrity, honesty, and strong character

- Experience managing construction or restoration projects in NYC
- Experience with both water and fire mitigation
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and job sequencing
- Proficiency with technology and adaptability to new software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- IICRC certification (at least WRT)
- 2-3 years of managing restoration projects end to end
Preferred
- Restoration or insurance-related construction experience
- Estimating experience or familiarity with Xactimate and Cotality (a plus, not required)
- Carpentry, construction management, or trade background
- Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT)
