Wastewater Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Engineer to support the performance, reliability, and optimization of ultrapure and wastewater treatment systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wastewater treatment systems, strong data analysis skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and enhance complex water treatment processes. Responsibilities: • Monitor and assess the condition and performance of wastewater treatment systems • Analyze operational data (pressure, flow rate, conductivity, etc.) to optimize system performance • Adjust maintenance schedules based on system performance data and trends. • Troubleshoot and optimize chemical dosing and regeneration parameters to minimize downtime and improve reliability. • Identify and analyze biological, chemical, or particulate fouling sources. • Collaborate with engineering teams to modify operational parameters or implement pre-treatment strategies. • Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards. • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. Skills Required: • 3+ years in wastewater or ultrapure water treatment system operations and maintenance engineering. • Semiconductor or high-purity water treatment experience is a plus. • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret and act on complex system data. Education / Licenses / Certifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
