Description Summary/Objective The Waste Treatment Manager is directly responsible for Equipment, Operations and Controls of the facility wastewater and process water systems. Responsibilities include managing a team in charge of the operation of the wastewater treatment and process water treatment systems within the facility. Ensure State and OSHA requirements and Safety protocols and practices; trains all personnel in associated equipment and safety practices.

- Responsible for the overall direction, training and evaluation of WWT Personnel, including interviewing and hiring employees.
- Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work, tasks and Preventative Maintenance in the department.
- Evaluates and prepares environmental and regulatory reports and is responsible for the overall operation, safety and regulatory of the systems.

Supervisory Responsibility This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. There are two to six direct reports to this position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, salary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience - Chemical processing or equivalent experience/education combination.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience (e.g. manufacturing engineering) or a commensurate level of experience with related products.
- Training in general safety and quality system awareness.
- Supervisory/management experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Security background desirable.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Wastewater Grade 5C License or above, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, 24-hour HAZWOPER.
Preferred Education and Experience - Certificate or Specified as listed above in required education and experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable) ITAR compliance
