Job SummaryReporting to the Director, the Manager of Warehouse Operations leads RTC's warehousing, receiving, shipping, and related logistics activities, including direct oversight of the Warehouse, Receiving, and Shipping Managers.
This role uses logistics data to improve cost, service, and operational performance while partnering with Procurement, Operations, Production, Finance, Customer Service, and Quality to align material flow with customer and manufacturing requirements.
The manager drives continuous improvement through analytics, process optimization, and operational execution, including logistics dashboards, transportation efficiency tracking, freight and landed cost analysis, global import support, and service and cost improvement initiatives.
Principal ResponsibilitiesOperations & Leadership• Manage daily warehousing, receiving, shipping, and transportation operations across RTC facilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Warehouse, Receiving, and Shipping Managers and logistics coordinators.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow to support production schedules, customer commitments, and inventory accuracy.
• Establish departmental KPIs and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Analytics & Reporting• Build and maintain logistics, transportation, and inventory dashboards using ERP, WMS, and TMS data.
• Analyze freight costs, landed costs, carrier performance, and transit times to identify savings and service improvements.
• Prepare executive reports and recommendations for the Director and senior leadership.
Transportation & Carrier Management• Monitor carrier performance and routing guide compliance, and recommend modal optimization opportunities.
• Support carrier sourcing, freight bids, and contract renewals.
• Resolve operational issues with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs.
Import & Trade Support• Coordinate with customs brokers, forwarders, and suppliers to ensure timely clearance of international shipments.
• Support tariff analysis, HTS classifications, landed cost reporting, and trade compliance documentation and audits.
Process Improvement• Develop SOPs and warehouse and logistics best practices.
• Support implementation of warehouse, transportation, and visibility technologies, and identify automation opportunities.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of progressive warehouse, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution experience.
• At least 5 years of management experience, including managing other managers or supervisors.
• Experience managing warehousing, receiving, shipping, or transportation operations.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS, TMS, and BI tools, plus advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of international logistics, customs, tariffs, and trade compliance.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $99,786-157,600 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role. Bonuses are paid based on RTC's financial results. Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date. Program rules are subject to change at management's discretion.
