Full Job Description
As the VP, US Site Management & Operations at Iterative Health, you will lead the performance, growth, and operational excellence of our GI and Hepatology network of clinical research sites across the United States.

You'll be accountable for the performance and P&L of 50+ US-based sites, driving research revenue as a meaningful growth engine and building the operational excellence that makes our sites the best place to run a clinical trial. You'll set the strategy and operating model to scale the network while delivering exceptional experiences for patients, Principal Investigators, sponsors, and study teams.

This is a hands-on executive leadership role with direct accountability for results. You'll lead a team of Regional Directors who oversee Site Managers, Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, and other research professionals, while partnering closely with Principal Investigators and leaders across the organization to drive performance, growth, and scale.

Where You'll Drive Impact

Site Performance & Management
  • Own site health, revenue, P&L, and operational performance across Iterative Health's US GI site network.
  • Establish clear reporting, performance benchmarks, and action plans to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth of our sites.
  • Proactively identify performance gaps and partner across functions to address barriers to revenue, productivity, capacity, and study execution.
  • Own staffing strategy across the network, partnering with the People Team to ensure sites are appropriately staffed and positioned for growth.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, capacity, and study portfolio management, ensuring the right studies are matched to the right sites and that sites are positioned to maximize enrollment and research revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to expand site capabilities, capacity, and research volume across the GI and Hepatology network.
  • Drive enrollment, data quality, compliance, and overall study execution against premium network benchmarks.
  • Ensure teams are aligned, appropriately resourced, and accountable for delivering study and network commitments and operational targets.
  • Own the site operations workstream for M&A integrations, partnering with cross-functional leaders to assess operational readiness, integrate acquired sites and teams, align processes and systems, and ensure a seamless transition into the Iterative Health operating model.
  • Partner closely with Site Solutions, Study Success, Life Sciences, Finance, People, Product,, and other key stakeholders to align site strategy, resources, and execution with broader company objectives.


Deep Site Relationships & People Management
  • Build deep relationships with key Principal Investigators and establish a consistent standard for PI engagement across the network..
  • Build relationships with the broader practice, including practice leadership to drive engagement and buy-in to research
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, development, and retention through strong leadership, training, and career development for site level staff
  • Additional responsibilities as needed to support the company's strategic priorities.


What You Bring to the Team
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, clinical research, healthcare services or related field in a multi-site organization.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in healthcare, business, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience building, scaling, or transforming a healthcare service line, business unit, or multi-site operation in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership of P&L, revenue growth, operational performance, and resource allocation.
  • Experience participating in M&A, acquisitions, integrations, or organizational transformation strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and/or healthcare operations, with GI experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and drive measurable results across distributed organizations.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with experience building teams, developing leaders, and fostering accountability and high performance.
  • Strong track record of building trusted relationships with clinicians and senior stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally across Operations, Finance, Commercial/Business Development, and People to build and scale a business.
