Full Job Description
Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM FINANCE - OPERATIONS & CENTRAL REGION to join our FISCAL SERVICES team!

Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance/CFO, provides development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of policies on operational finance, budgeting, and financial strategic planning for the Aspirus System and Central Region, which includes Aspirus Wausau Hospital and Aspirus Merrill Hospital. They will be a trusted business partner to clinical, operational, and executive leadership, translating financial insights into operational action while advancing margin improvement, productivity optimization, and sustainable growth. They will provide leadership and organizational direction to the Vice Presidents of Finance for business units and functions as assigned. He/She actively participates in the overall management of Aspirus, Inc. and its subsidiaries and more specifically Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc. They maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship to the President of Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc (AWH) and Aspirus Merrill Hospital (AMR).

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hospital management and policy administration, as well as development and implementation of budgets, financial strategies and standards normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance; or a Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field. If Bachelor's Degree, FHFMA required.
  • Eight to ten years' experience in healthcare financial management along with four to five years of management experience in the healthcare field is essential.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desired.
  • Master's Degree desired.
