We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales Support to lead, develop, and execute strategic initiatives that elevate the effectiveness of our national sales organization. This highly visible role will serve as a critical business partner to senior leadership, managing sales enablement programs, sales training, onboarding, and methodology adoption. The VP of Sales Support will also lead a high-impact team responsible for cultivating top-performing sales professionals aligned with our mission to deliver compassionate care and service excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Training & Enablement Leadership

  • Lead the design and implementation of sales training programs and scalable enablement strategies to improve performance and accelerate revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure training programs support key business priorities and foster a winning sales culture.

  • Drive adoption of best-in-class sales methodologies and tools that empower sales teams to achieve results.

 

Talent Development & Coaching

  • Serve as a hands-on leader and mentor, focused on developing sales talent and equipping teams with the skills needed to exceed goals.

  • Implement structured onboarding, career development plans, and ongoing training for sales teams and leadership.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

 

Sales Strategy Execution

  • Align sales support strategies with overall business objectives and partner closely with executive leadership to introduce new solutions, services, and go-to-market plans.

  • Provide insights and analytics to evaluate the impact of training and support efforts on business outcomes.

 

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales support team.

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, marketing, HR, and compliance teams to build and scale sales infrastructure.

  • Support the execution of strategic business initiatives and drive consistency across the sales organization.

About You

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in sales, sales support, and operations; healthcare or regulated industry preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with a proven track record in sales enablement or training at scale.

  • Demonstrated success in driving measurable improvements in sales performance and onboarding efficiency.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of sales training, enablement tools, and performance coaching.

  • Ability to develop talent and build strong, accountable teams.

  • Strategic thinker with strong project management and organizational leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.

  • Proficient in using analytics to inform learning strategy and sales effectiveness.

  • Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced, and multi-site environments.

Travel Requirement:

Willingness to travel 50–75% to support regional teams, lead onsite training initiatives, and collaborate with leadership.
